Komelon has manufactured a full line of quality measuring tools for over 40 years. Since its establishment in 1963, it has specialized producing the highest rated tape measures in terms of technology, quality, and design. Our tape measures can be found in over 80 countries.
Located on the southern coast of South Korea, Komelon has its head office and tape measure production facility near Busan. Komelon began business in 1963 producing insulating tape. By 1974, its focus had changed to the manufacture of tape measures and other measuring devises. The name, Komelon, was then registered as its trademark. Komelon developed the newest fiberglass compression technology, elevating the quality of fiberglass tape measures to the highest level in the world.
In 1995, Komelon Steel Corporation was established in Incheon, South Korea. This is a rolling mill that allows Komelon to control the quality of all materials used in the process of producing the best measuring tools that can be found. Komelon could now supervise every aspect of disbursing its fine product-from production to marketing and distribution.

In 1997, Komelon USA Corporation was formed to allow our customers in the United States the opportunity for faster access to our quality products.
Komelon USA Corporation is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin with a 30,000 square foot warehouse and complete sales and marketing staff. We are able to support major retailers such as DIY home centers, discount chain stores, contractor and industrial supply houses, and additional chain stores located in the United States and Canada. The establishment of Komelon USA Corp. has expanded our ability to serve our customers more efficiently.

Komelon prides itself on its ability to conduct the entire business scope, from production of fine raw materials to finished product, outstanding technology as well as new and innovative tape measures. Currently, Komelon has Approximately 200 patents utility model rights that are registered at home and abroad. Most recognizable is the development of the fiberglass tape measure technology that is the world standard today.
