In 1995, Komelon established a rolling mill in Incheon which provided momentum for Komelon to emerge as a competitive tape measure maker. It is the most vertically integrated manufacturer in the world. The company was now able to obtain the raw material on a more secure basis.
In 1997, Komelon set up Komelon USA Corp. as a local incorporation in the United States. The largest tape measure market in the world, Komelon is laying the basis for extensive marketing activities. Major dealers of our products in the North America include home centers, discount chain stores, contractor & industrial supplier and diverse chain stores.
